Six people were injured after a pickup truck plowed through two motorcycles and rammed into a laundry shop in Davao City.

“As in, kusog gyud ang iyang dagan tapos nag-untol-untol man gud ang iyahang ligid. Mao to sa kakusog, diha siya nilargo. Mga nagpila sa ATM kay sweldo man gud gahapon, 15… unya, ang uban nakabantay, ang uban wala kay sa kakusog sa impact niya ba,” a witness said.

Because of the impact, three people who were lining up at an ATM and the three people on board the pickup truck were injured.

Some machines at the laundry shop and the two motorcycles were also damaged.

The pickup truck driver reportedly told the police that the vehicle lost its brakes.

“Kung pasakaan nila og kaso ang kaning driver, mag-atubang ang driver sa kasong reckless imprudence resulting in multiple physical injury and damage to property,” Davao City Police Office (DCPO) Spokesperson, Captain Hazel Caballero Tuazon, said.

The driver was taken under police custody and did not issue a statement.
