An office of a cooperative in Davao City was ransacked and lost nearly P700,000.

Police said the suspect may have gained entrance through the salon beside the office by destroying the exit door, climbing to the ceiling of the salon’s restroom, and passing through the ceiling of the restroom in the coop’s office.

A member of the salon staff said she saw footprints on the floor leading to the restroom.

“Ang tunob gyud sa tao, diri niadto diri, kay nakita nako kay limpyo man gyud ni kaayo. Nakita nako ang iyahang tunob sa sapatos padulong didto sa cr. Pa-ana nako sa cr, baho pang tao, murag bag-o pato nigawas,” the staff member, Gigi Labra Pangilingan, said.

When the employees of the cooperative reported for work, they saw a hole on the wall behind the safety vault.

“Pagsulod namo, didto gyud namo nakit-an nga nagkaguliyang na ang among opisina, nasudlan gyud siya,” Satellite Office Head, Christopher Lambo, said.

When they checked the vault, the money was no longer there.

“Abri gyud, murag naa gyud siyay gigamit nga tools. Murag ana gyud siya sa ana nga binuhatan niya tungod kay kabalo man siya unsay dalaon nga tools mismo. Unsa ka hait ba, ana,” Lambo added.

The suspect also carted away the caliber .38 revolver issued to the security guard.

Authorities are securing video footages that could help in the investigation.
