Four people were injured after a motorcycle crashed into a tricycle in Barangay Talospatang, Malasiqui, Pangasinan.
The tricycle involved is a variant used for carrying cargos referred to locally "kolong-kolong" or “garong.”
Closed circuit television (CCTV) footage shows the motorcycle traveling behind the kolong-kolong. Suddenly, the motorcycle slammed into the other vehicle, causing the two vehicles to spin out of control.
Witnesses said the impact was so severe that the kolong-kolong was pushed to the side of the road and hit a parked car.
"Moving sila ng the same direction. Nauna ‘yung garong tapos ‘yung motor. Pagkabangga ng single, napunta ‘yung garong sa isang sasakyan na nakaparada," PLT. Jimmy Vaquilar, duty officer of Malasiqui, said.
The collision injured both the drivers and passengers of the two vehicles.
Authorities said the vehicle owners have reached an agreement.
