Eight men, including a soldier, were arrested for violating the election gun ban in Nueva Ecija.
According to the Nueva Ecija Police Provincial Office, three suspects were arrested in Cabanatuan City, including the soldier.
The others were caught in the towns of San Leonardo, Jaen, Quezon, and Gapan City, where they were found with various firearms and ammunition.
One suspect from Talavera was also arrested after authorities found suspected shabu in his possession.
All arrested individuals are now in police custody and will face the appropriate charges.
