Authorities arrested two men with suspected shabu worth more than P1 million at a checkpoint in Davao City on Friday, January 10, 2025.
Police allegedly caught the suspects in the act of throwing the items from a sling bag when they were asked to disembark from the bus they were riding and have their belongings checked through the X-ray scanner.
Authorities recovered three sachets of suspected shabu worth around P1.2 million.
The suspects are facing charges for alleged violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act (RA 9165).
