Agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (PDEA-BARMM) seized suspected shabu worth around P3.4 million in a buy-bust operation in Cotabato City.
PDEA-BARMM agents also arrested two suspects identified as alias “Thing” and alias “Saima.”
The two suspects were considered as high-value target individuals in the illegal drug trade.
The suspects allegedly operated in nearby towns of Maguindanao, including Cotabato City.
Seized from their possession was a sachet of suspected shabu weighing around 500 grams, mobile phones, wallets, and identification cards.
The suspects are now detained and will face charges for alleged violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act (RA 9165).
