A 62-year-old man died when the tricycle he was riding overturned after it hit a dog on the road in Toril, Davao City.
In a video footage, the tricycle is seen running at high speed and overtaking another vehicle while traveling downhill.
All of a sudden, a dog crossed the street that it got hit by the tricycle, and the tricycle overturned.
Police said the passenger of the tricycle was thrown off the vehicle and his head hit the ground. The tricycle driver was injured and may face charges for reckless imprudence resulting in homicide.
The dog also died.
