A 64-year-old rider died while another was injured after the motorcycles they were riding collided at the intersection of CP Garcia, Davao City morning on Thursday, January 2, 2025.
Police said the 64-year-old rider was heading to Cabantian from Bajada while the other rider was going to Buhangin from Panacan when the two motorcycles collided upon reaching the intersection.
Because of the impact, the two were thrown off their motorcycles and were rushed to the hospital. The 64-year-old rider did not make it there alive.
Authorities are still investigating the incident and are waiting for the decision of the family of the rider who died if they would file a case.
