At least four barangays in Glan, Sarangani were affected by flooding and landslides triggered by bad weather.

Landslides were reported in Barangays Sufatubo, Baliton, and Burias.

Coconut trees were also toppled down in Barangay Baliton, one of which fell on a house, according to the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO).

Another house was buried by a landslide in Barangay Burias.

In Barangay Cablalan, around 20 families were evacuated due to flooding. The families affected have returned to their homes, as of this writing.

The bad weather experienced in the town was due to the intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ).

“Tungod man gud naa ta’y ITCZ tapos continuous atoang kusog nga pag-ulan, mao to siya ang hinungdan,” Glan MDRRMO Operations Officer, Christopher Choi Caballero, said.
