Residents of Barangay Amado-Tapuac in Dagupan City rushed outside their homes as a fire engulfed a house in their neighborhood.
Thick smoke and flames could be seen as firefighters battled the blaze, as shown in a video from the scene.
Authorities said they have received reports that burned a tricycle and the fire spread to the houses nearby.
“Nanunog ng tricycle, dinamay pati ang bahay… pasamantalang i-accommodate ng barangay, handa naman kami,” Barangay Chairperson Sidney Lomboy said.
The incident is under investigation to determine if the house fire was, indeed, intentional.
