Baguio City continues to enforce its number coding scheme throughout the holiday season on both residents and tourists in its central business district.

The scheme, implemented under a city ordinance, is in effect from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on key roads in the city.

Motorists are reminded of the coding schedule:

  • Monday: Plates ending in 1-2
  • Tuesday: Plates ending in 3-4
  • Wednesday: Plates ending in 5-6
  • Thursday: Plates ending in 7-8
  • Friday: Plates ending in 9-0

Exemptions are only granted through an executive order during calamities or emergencies.

Despite the regulation, heavy traffic persists on Kennon Road, particularly in the Twin Peaks area.

Authorities advise motorists to take alternative routes to avoid delays.

The ongoing implementation aims to manage traffic flow and maintain order in Baguio City during the busy holiday season.
