A Chinese businessman was shot dead while dining at a restaurant in Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija.
According to police, the 35-year-old victim was eating when two suspects on a motorcycle arrived.
One of them disembarked and opened fire at the victim before fleeing the scene.
The businessman died instantly after sustaining seven gunshot wounds to the head and body.
His family declined to issue a statement.
Authorities are still investigating the motive behind the crime.
