A 70-year-old woman died after she was hit by a van while crossing the pedestrian lane on Gulf View Crossing Davao-Digos Road in Barangay Bago Aplaya, Davao City.
According to a report by GMA Super Radyo Davao, the van was driven by a resident of Tagum City.
Investigation disclosed that the van was heading to the coastal road from Talomo Road when the driver hit the woman who was crossing the pedestrian lane.
The woman died in the hospital at past 9 p.m. on Thursday, December 19, 2024.
Meanwhile, the driver of the van was taken under custody of the Traffic Enforcement Unit (TEU) of the Davao City Police Office (DCPO).
