A man was killed after he was shot while tussling for a gun with his drinking companion in General Santos City.
Police said the victim was hit in the head and stomach.
Investigation revealed that the two figured in an altercation that triggered for the companion to snatch the victim’s gun.
Four gunshots ended the tussle.
The suspect turned himself in to authorities later, but he allegedly forgot where he placed the firearm.
“Mao na usa sa among panawagan. Katung armas, in the first place dili siya lisensyado… unta ihatag na lang dinhi sa station i-surrender na lang ninyo para dili magamit sa ubang krimen or if ever naa mi information, naa sa imo, dili ihatag sa amoa, we will conduct operation against you and makulong pa gyud mo,” Abasillas added.
The victim’s family is determined to file murder charges against the suspect.
