Three women were arrested during a buy-bust operation in Barangay Magtanggol, Science City of Muñoz, Nueva Ecija.
The arrest happened early morning on Wednesday, December 12, 2024.
Authorities said the suspects, residents of San Jose City, traveled to Muñoz to sell illegal drugs.
A police officer posed as a buyer and arranged to meet the suspects at a secluded area. Operatives swooped in on the suspects when they handed over the alleged illegal drugs and received the marked money from the poseur buyer.
Police recovered four sachets of suspected shabu weighing 10 grams, valued at P68,000.
They also seized the marked money; 11 other P1,000 bills; and mobile phones.
The suspects are now in police custody.
