A couple was arrested with suspected shabu worth nearly P7 million found inside their car in General Santos City on Wednesday, December 11, 2024.
Police were only supposed to serve an arrest warrant against a businessman for alleged violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act (9165) on the Diversion Road in Barangay Sinawal.
However, the operating team found a big plastic cellophane of suspected shabu weighing nearly one kilo and worth more than P6.7 million when the warrant was served.
Also recovered were an airsoft rifle and drug paraphernalia.
Authorities also arrested the wife of the businessman who was with him at that time.
The two will face charges for alleged violation of RA 9165.
