The Cagayan Anti-Illegal Logging Task Force found an estimated 300 board feet of Narra planks in Baggao, Cagayan.
According to Atty. Leonard Beltran, head of the Provincial Natural Resources and Environment Office of Cagayan, members of the task force found 28 planks from a mountainous area of Barangay C. Versoza.
The planks have reportedly been abandoned but were reportedly stored in the area intentionally.
The Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) will assess how much the planks are worth.
