Joint forces of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) and United States (US) Homeland Security pounced on a 33-year-old man in Barangay Kalawisan, Lapu-Lapu City for cyberpornography using children as young as a one-month-old baby.

US Homeland Security disclosed of the involvement of children in the suspect's production of lewd online videos.

The suspect is an uncle of three of the victims who are as young as eight years old and a one-month-old baby.

The eight-year-old kids are twin sisters.

The children were rescued by the authorities. They are under the temporary care of social workers, as of this writing.

Confiscated from the suspect are assorted sex toys, three mobile phones that contained sensitive video recordings of the children, among other items.

The operatives revealed that the suspect has been into the production of lewd materials involving children for over a year already.

The authorities have not ruled out the possibility that the mothers of the children are privy to the operations of the suspect.

“Our children are not merchandized whether online or offline. Let us protect our children. Second key point is that it takes a village to take care of our children so the community must get involved to stop this kind of criminality, this type of savagery,” Maria Contessa Lastimoso, agent on case of NBI-Central Visayas Regional Office (CEVRO), said.

Despite the pieces of evidence, the suspect has denied vehemently the accusation.
