A 49-year-old woman was killed when a riprap of a subdivision collapsed and pinned her to death inside her house in Barangay Tisâ, Cebu City.
The incident happened at 6 p.m. on Sunday, December 1, 2024.
The woman was pulled from the rubble but was pronounced dead on arrival at the Cebu City Medical Center at 2:35 a.m. on Monday, December 2, 2024.
The woman’s 50-year-old husband was rescued at 12:30 a.m. and rushed to the hospital as well.
Debris fell onto the couple’s house when the riprap of Deca Homes collapsed during a heavy rainfall.
