At least 60 houses were razed by a fire that hit Base Compound in Barangay Cansojong, Talisay City, Cebu on Friday, November 29, 2024.
The fire broke out reportedly at past 10 a.m.
The fire was raised to first alarm at 10:38 a.m., based on fire investigation.
Fire Officer 2 Mar Dee Auxtero, investigator from the Talisay City Fire Station, said that the fire was raised immediately to second alarm because of the quick spread due to strong gusts of wind.
A fire-out was declared by 11:29 a.m.
Damages left by the fire was estimated at P337,000.
As of posting time, the cause of the fire is still being investigated.
