A 46-year-old man was shot dead in Barangay Bago Oshiro, Davao City on Thursday, November 28, 2024.

Police said the victim was shot while on board his vehicle. He sustained a gunshot wound in the head.

The victim died a few hours after he was brought to the hospital.

“As for now, ga-initiate pa mi og investigation and nagasilip mi sa mga areas kung naa tay makuha nga identification sa atong suspek,” Tugbok Police Station Chief, Major Vincent Ignacio Follante, said.

Investigators recovered a fired cartridge case of caliber .45 pistol from the crime scene.

“Ginaadtuan pa pud sa atong intel units ug atong investigators para mabackground check atong victim,” Follante added.

According to a report by GMA Super Radyo Davao, authorities are looking into personal grudge as possible motive in the killing.

Police have already identified a person of interest who may have a hand in the killing.
