Another town in Bukidnon has been declared free of insurgency.

Through a resolution passed by the Municipal Peace and Order Council (MPOC) and Municipal Anti-Drug Abuse Council (MADAC), the municipality of Kibawe has been declared free from the threat and violence of the New People’s Army (NPA).

Other towns in the province that have been declared insurgency-free previously include San Fernando, Kadingilan, Damulog, and Dangcagan.

The 10th Infantry Division (10ID) lauded its troops for their efforts in changing the peace landscape of Bukidnon.

"These declarations are a testament to the unwavering commitment and unity of our communities, local leaders, and security forces in achieving lasting peace,” 10ID Commander, Major General Allan Hambala, said.

“This victory is not just for the Agila Division but for every Filipino who dreams of a safer and more prosperous homeland. Together, we will continue to pave the way for progress and development, free from fear and violence,” Hambala added.
