Anti-illegal drug operatives seized suspected shabu worth more than P13 million in separate sting operations in Zamboanga.
A 50-year-old man was arrested in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Poblacion, Kabalasan, Zamboanga Sibugay.
Seized from the suspect were sachets of suspected shabu weighing around one kilo and worth nearly P7 million.
The suspect was considered a high value target in the illegal drug trade.
Meanwhile, a 59-year-old man was also arrested in a buy-bust operation in Barangay II, Zamboanga City evening on Monday, November 25, 2024.
Police confiscated suspected shabu worth around P6.8 million from the suspect.
The two drug suspects are now detained and are facing charges for alleged violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act (RA 9165).
