The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) continues its road clearing operations in Aurora, following the devastation caused by Super Typhoon #PepitoPH.

Heavy equipment from the DPWH Nueva Ecija team has been deployed to speed up the repair of national roads in the province.

Some roads are now passable, while others are still being repaired, with plans to complete the work by the end of 2024.

Efforts are also underway to restore power lines that were damaged during the typhoon.

Electric cooperatives from other Central Luzon provinces have also stepped in to assist with the restoration.

In Isabela, 434 out of 484 barangays, or 81.4 percent, have been reconnected to the power grid, following the damage caused by tropical cyclones Kristine, Leon, Ofel, and Nika.
