The province of Isabela has officially been placed under a state of calamity following the devastation caused by recent typhoons.
According to the Provincial Board, the total damage from the storms has surpassed P2 billion.
In response, the national government has provided P50 million in immediate aid to the affected areas.
An additional P20 million will be allocated specifically to assist farmers, with relief items including seeds, fertilizers, and other agricultural supplies.
