A couple heading for work was shot dead in Sto. Tomas, Davao del Norte on Monday, November 25, 2024.
According to a report by GMA Super Radyo Davao, the couple worked at a banana packaging plant in the town.
Police said the two were heading for work on board a motorcycle when they were shot by motorcycle-riding gunmen.
The victims sustained multiple gunshot wounds in different parts of their bodies. They were rushed to the hospital but were declared dead on arrival.
Investigators said the motive in the killing may have something to do with their work.
Authorities are investigating the incident to identify and arrest the perpetrators.
