A 27-year-old man identified by the authorities as a high value individual (HVI) was arrested along with his 24-year-old companion in a buy-bust operation in Valencia town, Province of Negros Oriental.
Personnel of the Provincial Intelligence Unit-Police Drug Enforcement Unit of the Negros Oriental Police Provincial Office collared the two for possession of about 500 grams of suspected shabu.
The illegal drugs were estimated to be worth P3.4 million.
The buy-bust operation was carried out in Purok Gabi, Barangay Bong-ao in the Municipality of Valencia on November 21, 2024.
