At least 30 families were displaced after a fire broke out at a residential area in Barangay Ma-a, Davao City on Sunday, November 24, 2024.
According to a report by GMA Super Radyo Davao, the fire razed 16 houses where 14 were destroyed and two were damaged partially.
Damage to property reached around P400,000.
No one was reported hurt in the incident.
Investigators are looking into the cause of the fire, as of this writing.
The families affected are taking shelter temporarily at the gymnasium while the Davao City Social Welfare and Development Office has conducted assessment and validation for the financial assistance.
