A woman tagged by the police as a “notorious shoplifter” was collared in the City of Talisay, south Cebu.
Suspected shabu was seized allegedly from her.
According to the Talisay City Police, the arrest is the 20th time that the 46-year-old suspect identified only as “Cristy,” a resident of Liloan town, was caught stealing items.
She failed again to pay the items she got from a supermarket in Barangay Tabunok.
She was nabbed afternoon on November 19, 2024.
The items she stole cost close to P8,000.
The items include three cans of milk powder, four bottles of Vitamin E, and a shoulder bag where the other items were placed.
Seized from her possession are three sachets of suspected shabu estimated to be worth P612.
Police Lt. Col. Epream Paguyod, chief of the Talisay City Police Office, disclosed that the suspect was already nabbed in Cebu City, Mandaue City, and Lapu-Lapu City previously.
