Seven family members, including several children, died in a landslide that buried their home in Ambaguio, Nueva Vizcaya.
The incident happened as the area was feeling the effects of Super Typhoon #PepitoPH.
The Nueva Vizcaya Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO) reported that the victims were inside their house when the landslide occurred.
Rescuers said the sudden downpour and unstable ground made it impossible to evacuate the family in time.
Authorities have pledged assistance to the grieving relatives of the victims.
