Authorities seized suspected shabu worth nearly P30 million in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Divisoria, Zamboanga City on Monday, November 18, 2024.
Police and agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Zamboanga (PDEA-9) also arrested the 40-year-old suspect.
Seized from the suspect were four big packs and sachets of suspected shabu worth more than P29.9 million.
The suspect is now detained and will face charges for alleged violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act (RA 9165).
“Ako'y nagagalak sa pinakitang tapang at husay ng mga operatiba ng Regional Drug Enforcement Unit 9 at sa tulong ng PDEA at NISG-WM sa sunod-sunod na matagumpay na operasyon kontra droga,” Police Regional Office-Zamboanga (PRO-9) Director, Brigadier General Bowenn Joey Masauding, said.
