Hundreds of families in Ilagan City, Isabela have returned home after spending days in evacuation centers due to back-to-back typhoons #NikaPH and #OfelPH.
With improved weather, residents from Barangays Guinatan, Sta. Barbara, and Bagumbayan began cleaning their homes and surroundings.
In Sta. Barbara, floodwaters rose above head level earlier in the week, leaving furniture and belongings caked in mud.
In Bagumbayan, a similar scene unfolded, with homes now dry but farmlands resembling rivers.
Fortunately, most crops had been harvested before the typhoons struck.
Although conditions are improving, a key bridge in Ilagan City remains impassable as the river it crosses continues to overflow.
