The Police Regional Office-Northern Mindanao (PRO-10) has seized around P23 million alleged smuggled cigarettes and around P1 million suspected illegal drugs in week-long operations in the region.

From November 7 to 13, 2024, police launched 52 operations, which resulted in the arrest of 62 suspects and confiscation of suspected shabu worth more than P1 million.

In the same period, authorities conducted four operations against smuggled cigarettes, which resulted in the arrest of 17 people and confiscation of alleged smuggled cigarettes worth more than P23 million.

Meanwhile, PRO-10 also seized around P2.4 million worth of minerals and mining equipment and arrested 15 individuals in two operations.

In the campaign against illegal gambling and wanted persons, authorities arrested four people allegedly involved in illegal gambling activities and arrested up to 28 individuals wanted for various crimes.
