More than 300 families in Ilagan City, Isabela are spending their fourth day in evacuation centers due to severe flooding.

Authorities have not yet allowed residents in low-lying and riverside areas to return home.

The families have also brought to safety their livestock, such as cattle and carabaos, as their fields remain submerged in floodwaters.

The Baculud Bridge also remains impassable as of Thursday, November 14, 2024, after the Pinacanauan River overflowed.

The province’s Emergency Operations Center has raised its alert level to red, keeping a close watch on coastal areas, including Palanan, Divilacan, Maconacon, and Dinapigue, due to potential storm surges.

Residents in these communities have also been evacuated as a precaution.
