A private school in Davao City has suspended classes on Thursday, November 14, 2024, after it received a bomb threat.

In an interview with GMA Super Radyo Davao, Bajada Police Station Commander, Major Jethro Joy Salanap, said the bomb threat was made through a message sent to the school’s Facebook page.

Police said the message stated that an explosive was planted by a group of students inside the school.

After receiving the message, the school immediately evacuated the campus and suspended classes.

Personnel of the Explosive Ordnance Division (EOD) of the Davao City Police Office (DCPO) responded and conducted paneling.

Authorities cleared the area and no explosives were found.
