Illegal drugs worth around P500 million were destroyed in a thermal facility in Cebu City on Thursday, November 14, 2024.
Personnel of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Authority (PDEA) 7 and other law enforcement agencies facilitated the destruction of at least 71 kilos of shabu, three kilos of marijuana, and other prohibited drugs.
The illegal drugs were seized in various operations of the PDEA 7 and the Philippine National Police.
The destruction was facilitated after PDEA 7 got the approval of the court to dispose of the said illegal drugs.
The destruction was done using the incinerator of a funeral homes in Cebu City.
