Super Typhoon (STY) "Ofel" (international name: Usagi) has weakened into a typhoon and made landfall in Baggao town, Province of Cagayan, according to the 2 p.m. advisory issued by PAGASA on Thursday, November 14, 2024.

As of 1 p.m., the center of the eye of Typhoon Ofel was estimated based on all available data over the coastal waters of Baggao, Cagayan (17.8°N, 122.2°E).
