Parts of Ilagan City and Tumauini in Isabela remain inundated, with homes and farmlands still flooded days after Typhoon #NikaPH passed through the area.

Drone footage reveals widespread damage to rice fields and corn crops, leaving many farmers distressed as they face yet another setback to their livelihood.

Mario Maramag, one of the farmers affected, said he is now uncertain about how he will recover from the losses.

The string of typhoons has left their source of income nearly depleted, and he, along with others, is appealing for government assistance.

Meanwhile, in Ilagan City, evacuees like 74-year-old Cora Lucas and her husband, 77-year-old Silvestre Lucas, are unable to return to their homes in Barangay San Vicente due to persistent flooding.

They are among 548 families, or around 1,682 people, who have sought refuge in evacuation centers.

Authorities estimate it may take two to three more days before water levels recede enough for evacuees to return.

The local government continues to distribute aid to residents affected as they brace for the potential impact of upcoming storms, #OfelPH and #PepitoPH.
