A man was shot fatally in the head by his drinking companion inside a bar in Calasiao, Pangasinan.
The shooting happened early morning on Saturday, November 9, 2024.
The victim was rushed to the hospital but was declared dead on arrival.
Police arrested the suspect later and recovered an improvised pistol, the weapon used in the alleged crime.
Authorities are still investigating the motive behind the shooting.
"Still under investigation pa po. Nagka-conduct pa ng through investigation upang makita kung sino ang iba pang nasa likod ng insidente," PCpt. Renan Dela Cruz, spokesperson for the Pangasinan Police Provincial Office, said.
The victim's family and the suspect are yet to to release a statement, as of this writing.
