#NikaPH has intensified into a tropical storm.

According to state weather bureau PAGASA in its 5 p.m. advisoryy on Saturday, November 9, 2024, the center of Tropical Storm (TS) "Nika" was estimated based on all available data at 1,005 km East of Southeastern Luzon (14.4°N, 131.0°E).

•Intensity:

Maximum sustained winds of 65 km/h near the center, gustiness of up to 80 km/h, and central pressure of 1000 hPa

•Present Movement:

Westward at 35 km/h

•Extent of Tropical Cyclone Winds:

Strong to gale-force winds extend outwards up to 250 km from the center
