A driver died while two others were injured after the pickup truck they were riding fell into an irrigation canal in Barangay Lobong, San Jacinto, Pangasinan.
The accident happened past 3 a.m. on November 6, 2024.
Authorities said the vehicle, which was traveling the provincial road, hit a pile of sand and gravel near a bridge, causing the driver to lose control of the wheel.
The truck then veered off the road and plunged into the irrigation canal.
Authorities continue their investigation as of this writing.
