An employee of a funeral parlor and his accomplice, of minor age, were arrested for stealing cables of a water supplier. The two were caught reportedly in the act.
The water supplier was determined to be Pilipinas Water Resources, Inc.
The incident took place at the South Road Properties, Barangay Mambaling, Cebu City on November 6, 2024.
The coiled cables were placed inside a vehicle owned by a funeral homes.
According to information shared by the authorities, the owner of the funeral parlor said that the vehicle goes missing in the morning.
The absence of the vehicle in the parking area even without a “customer” to pick up has baffled the owner, according to the police.
