Two riders were killed in a motorcycle collision in General Santos City.

The Traffic Enforcement Unit (TEU) said the victim, a 24-year-old woman, was about to make a turn when another motorcycle driven by a 27-year-old man from Tacurong, Sultan Kudarat hit her.

Didto gid sila nag sampok duha,” TEU-Gensan Investigator, Master Sergeant Wyken Yamon, said.

According to the victim’s boyfriend, the victim was supposed to fetch her cousin when the incident happened.

TEU said the suspect was allegedly under the influence of alcohol while reportedly racing with another motorcycle.

Both the victim and the suspect died in the hospital.

The family of the victim did not press charges against the suspect.

Because of the incident, police will intensify its “Oplan Sita” against motorists without proper documents and who are doing drag race.

Be careful gyud, control sa sarili. Defensive driving. Before ta mag ano sa kadalanan, kumpleto ta,” Yamon added.
