Transport of at least 27 live pigs was intercepted at the coast of Carmen town in the Province of Cebu.
Personnel of Regional Maritime Unit 7 said that the 27 live hogs on board a motorized banca named “Two Sisters” are undocumented.
The incident happened dawn on November 5, 2024 in Barangay Cogon East, Municipality of Carmen in north Cebu.
The motorized banca was reportedly from Barangay Esperanza, San Francisco town in Camotes Island.
Persons on board the vessel identified only as “Arman,” 60 years old, and “Carl,” 38 years old, both from Barangay Esperanza failed to present the required documents in the transport of pigs.
