A Korean national caused a commotion at the Clark Freeport Zone in Pampanga after he was caught naked in a sports utility vehicle (SUV).

This led to a chase that ended with the SUV crashing into a gasoline station and triggering a fire.

"Nakita siya naka-park doon sa may fire station namin. So nung sinilip noong fireman bakit nakahubad," Ret. PGen Lina Sarmiento, CDC VP Security Services Group, said.

The incident was captured in a video by Michael Angelo Legaspi that has since gone viral. It showed authorities confronting a man in a black SUV outside a hotel.

As the vehicle sped away, it struck a security guard’s motorcycle, nearly hitting the guard in the process.

"Slowly lang ang pag-drive niya... ini-stop siya doon pero binangga niya yung motorcycle, muntik pang masagasaan yung security guard," Sarmiento said.

The Clark Development Corporation (CDC) confirmed that a 41-year-old male Korean was behind the wheel.

Authorities cornered the man at a gas station, eventually, but when he still attempted to flee, his vehicle crashed into a fuel pump, which caused a brief fire.

“Within a span of four minutes naka-respond naman yung aming mga fire truck kaya napatay ang sunog within 15 minutes. So mayroon siyang offense against the person and against the property,” Sarmiento said.

The suspect, who sustained burns, is recovering in the hospital as CDC prepares multiple charges against him.
