Two content creators were summoned by the Highway Patrol Group 7 for showing off at the Cebu Transcentral Highway on upland Cebu City that poses risk to the life of motorists. 

The two video loggers (vloggers) donned costumes of popular anime and superhero characters, respectively, and clowned around, ran after passing vehicles while reveling in their acts for content purposes on their social media platforms.

The viral video drew the attention of HPG 7.

The video showed one person in Son Guku costume, the main Saiyan protagonist of the "Dragon Ball" metaseries, while the other person wore a Spiderman costume.

The incident happened on October 27, 2024.

The two content creators said they apologized to the officials of HPG 7 and to the public for the wrongdoing.

They said their intention was only to produce content. However, Police Lieutenant Colonel Wilbert Parilla, HPG 7 chief, explained to them that while their purpose may seem fit to their personal goals, but it is a different story once playfulness leads to misbehavior.

Lt. Col. Parilla said that the act could either startle or scare motorists and lead to road mishaps.

Parilla emphasized that the place where the video was taken has been identified as an accident-prone area.

The video also gained a noticeable amount of bashing from netizens.

The two content creators owned up to their mischievous behavior and vowed not to repeat the act.
