Personnel of the Ormoc City Police Office (OCPO) handed over a Certificate of Appreciation to three traffic enforcers for their immediate action that led to the arrest of two of six suspects in a foiled robbery in the city.

Prudencio Mercado, Erdinand Alcantara, and Armand Gomez were recognized for their “exceptional courage and dedication to public safety” that led to the arrest of suspects in the botched robbery of a pawnshop and jewelry shop located at Rizal Street, Barangay South, Ormoc City on October 17, 2024.

The three are commended for “enforcement that serves as a commendable example of service to the community and to their fellow traffic enforcers.”

The recognition is handed over after a flag-raising ceremony at OCPO Headquarters in Camp Jorge Downes, Ormoc City morning on Monday, October 28, 2024.
