A 61-year-old man lost his life tragically in a landslide that struck Bontoc, Mountain Province, on Sunday, October 27, 2024.
The landslide swept the man down the mountainside and into a river nearby.
Authorities discovered the man’s body with severe head injuries after an estimated 80-meter fall.
The local government of Bontoc has extended assistance to the man’s family.
