Several tombs at the Panacan Public Cemetery in Davao City are still submerged in floodwaters on Monday, October 28, 2024, a few days before the observance of All Saints Day and All Souls Day.

If the situation will not change by November 1 and 2, those who cannot locate the resting place of their departed loved ones can light candles, and offer flowers and prayers, at the cross near the cemetery entrance.

The Panacan Public Cemetery has an area of more than one hectare and it is one of the 10 public cemeteries in the city.
