Sea trips in some parts of Mindanao were suspended temporarily due to Tropical Storm #KristinePH.
The Coast Guard Station Surigao del Norte has issued a travel advisory suspending voyages of watercrafts plying from mainland Surigao del Norte to affected areas specified in the bulletin of PAGASA.
However, RoRo vessels plying to San Jose Port, Dinagat Islands to Surigao Baseport, Surigao City and vice versa, as well as from Lipata Port to San Ricardo Port and vice versa may only sail when the conditions set by authorities are satisfied.
Meanwhile, the Coast Guard Station Siargao also issued an advisory suspending voyages plying within Siargao Island and from Siargao Island to the areas affected as specified in the bulletin of PAGASA.
Vessels allowed to sail are reminded to take precautionary measures and be vigilant in monitoring the prevailing weather disturbance.
Sea trips will resume until further notice and when the weather and sea conditions improve.
Voyages of all watercrafts plying from Balingoan, Misamis Orientalwere also suspended temporarily based on the advisory issued by the Coast Guard Station Misamis Oriental on Tuesday, October 22, 2024.
